LEBANON — The Interstate 89 Exit 17 north and southbound ramps will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday nights this week.

The ramps will be closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. as paving continues on the interstate, according to a news release from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation, which is overseeing the project. Department officials said the ramps will be closed “sequentially, with only one ramp closed at a time to minimize disruptions.”

During that time, motorists can use detours at Exit 16 on the southbound side of the interstate in Enfield or Exit 18 on the northbound side of the interstate in Lebanon.

Delays are expected.

The closures were previously scheduled to take place Monday and Tuesday nights, according to an earlier news release from the department.
