NEW LONDON — In ballot voting on Tuesday, James MacKenna earned a three-year term representing New London on the Kearsarge Regional School District Board.
MacKenna earned 493 votes to Elizabeth Parrish Gunby’s 445.
Voters in the multi-town district, which also includes the Upper Valley town of Springfield, N.H., also approved a school budget of $55.4 million, as well as the cost of a new collective bargaining agreement with the Kearsarge Regional Educators Association, which includes $858,000 in the first year.
