
TUNBRIDGE — In floor voting on Tuesday, voters approved the town budget with a flat police budget instead of the $10,000 increase that was proposed.
With the reduction, they approved a general fund budget of $857,000.
They also approved a highway budget of $1.29 million, as well as $55,000 to support the fire department and a total of $19,000 to support social service groups.
Voters reelected Gary Mullen to the Selectboard.
Voters opted to keep the offices of first and second constable, but they remain unfilled.
