Bethel passes $2.95M budget, elects Selectboard members

BETHEL — In Tuesday’s floor meeting, voters added $3,000 to the proposed appropriation for the Bethel Food Shelf, bringing the total to $30,000.

They also approved a budget of $2.95 million, of which $2.45 million is expected to come from taxes, as well as a $193,500 appropriation for the White River Valley Ambulance, Inc.

At the polls, voters elected Selectboard members: David Eddy to a three-year term and Eijah ‘Alvi’ Reed to a two-year term.
