LYME — A longtime Upper Valley educator has been named the new superintendent of the Lyme School District.
Frank Perotti, who has been interim superintendent in Lyme, will serve in the role for the next two years, according to an announcement posted to the Lyme listserv and signed by all members of the Lyme School Board.
Perotti, who in addition to his work in Lyme is currently the superintendent in Croydon, also has worked in Plainfield and Hartland.
“He is a consummate professional with a demonstrated track record as a transformative educational leader and innovator,” the seven board members wrote in the statement.
CLARIFICATION: Frank Perotti is currently the interim superintendent of the Lyme School District, in addition to serving as superintendent in Croydon. A previous version of this story did not include his interim role in Lyme.
