ENFIELD — Enfield lifted a boil-water requirement for the village water system effective at noon Thursday, according to the town’s website.

The order had been in place since Nov. 4. It affected all 484 connections to Enfield’s water and sewer system, which are primarily located in Enfield Village and the business district along Route 4.

The town advises that those affected by the boil order flush their pipes, dump existing ice from automatic ice makers, and replace water filters.
