HANOVER — Police are looking for a suspect in an assault on a Dartmouth College student last month, according to a Tuesday news release. The assault required the 20-year-old male victim, a member of the Phi Delta Alpha fraternity, to be hospitalized at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon due to injuries including a fractured jaw.

Police believe the assault occurred between 11 p.m. on May 27 and 3 a.m. on May 28, in Hanover somewhere in the area between 5 Webster Ave. — where the fraternity is located — and a trail going down to the Connecticut River.

Hanover police are seeking information that might help identify a suspect. They are asking those with such information to contact Lt. Mike Schibuola at Michael Schibuola@hanovernh.org or 603-640-3336. People can also call an anonymous tip line at 603-643-7278.
