This month, Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Market’s Working Lands program awarded $3.1 million in grants to local farms and businesses, including several expanding enterprises in the Upper Valley.
The Vermont Technical College was awarded $250,000 for meat processing training to support a sustainable regional meat supply. In Corinth, Juniper Chase, a young company run by Markus Bradley and Ben Machin of Redstart Consulting, won $75,000 for a native restoration nursery to meet growing demand.
