HARTFORD — The rollback of indoor mask mandates continues in the Upper Valley.
Hartford and Thetford no longer have mask mandates in effect after their selectboards opted not to renew them at meetings this week. Hartford’s mandate ended Wednesday, while Thetford’s ended Tuesday, according to town officials.
Norwich, Lebanon and Hanover continue to have mask mandates in place.
The Lebanon City Council is holding a public hearing on its mask requirement on March 23, the same day the Norwich Selectboard is scheduled to review its mandate. Lebanon’s hearing was previously scheduled to take place next Wednesday, March 16, but city officials pushed it back a week due to an advertising error and the public hearing not being properly noticed, Deputy City Manager Paula Maville said.
Meanwhile, “Hanover is perched on the point of making a decision” about masks, Town Manager Julia Griffin said Thursday.
