Article of note: In a special article, voters will be asked to approve $190,000 for repairs on Ryder Corner Road at the end of Reeds Mill Road. Work will include replacing culverts, ditching and draining, as well as resurfacing. $95,200 will come from taxation.
Contested races: A three-year position on the school board.
Budgets and spending articles: Voters are presented with a $590,000 general municipal operations budget. This is $115,000 more than last year’s budget and does not take into account appropriations contained in special articles. These articles include additions such as $50,000 for the Town Vehicles and Equipment Capital Reserve Fund.
When, where and how to vote: Voting for town officer positions will take place at Croydon Town Hall, 879 NH Rte 10, on Tuesday, March 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Voting on the remaining articles, including the budget, will occur Saturday, March 12, at the Town Hall at 9:00 a.m.
