Contested races: There are no contested races.

Budgets and spending articles: Voters in Bethel and Royalton will be asked to approve a budget of $12.5 million to support the two towns’ schools in ballot voting on Town Meeting Day. That budget is up about $430,000 from the prior year’s.

When, where and how to vote: Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on March 1. Bethel voters will vote at the White River Valley Middle School gymnasium, 273 Pleasant St., and Royalton voters will vote in the small gym at the Royalton campus of the White River Valley School, 223 South Windsor St. Virtual budget information sessions are scheduled for Feb. 21 and Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. More information and the link for the meetings are online at: wrvsd.org.
