Hanover High field hockey opened its NHIAA Division II season on Monday with a 4-3 come-from-behind win over Bow at Merriman-Branch Field.

Down 2-0 after one quarter, Hanover used two goals from freshman Maggie Higgins around a Mia Edmonds score for a 3-2 halftime lead. Livvy Trummel’s unassisted second-half tally gave enough of a cushion to withstand a late goal from the Falcons.

Olivia Evans and Reilly Loughman combined on two saves. Hanover visits Souhegan on Thursday.
