LEBANON — The Hanover Street and Lebanon Middle schools will be closed Monday because of staffing shortages, school officials said Sunday.
After receiving COVID-19 vaccinations on Saturday “many staff are experiencing side effects,” Superintendent Joanne Roberts wrote in an email to parents.
As a result, she said, there’s not enough staff to operate the Hanover Street School — an elementary school attached to Lebanon High School — or Lebanon Middle School either in-person or remotely.
Roberts said both Lebanon High School and the Mount Lebanon Elementary School will be open Monday and buses to those schools will run on their normal schedules.
“We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we move forward through this challenging time,” she said.
