CLAREMONT — A 30-year-old Claremont man was charged with two felonies after police responded Monday night to reports of shots fired.
Kevin Dooley was charged with reckless conduct with a weapon and criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, Claremont police said in a news release.
Police said they received reports of a disturbance and shots fired in the area of Paddy Hollow Road and Madison Place shortly after 7 p.m. on Monday
An investigation “revealed that an altercation occurred” that resulted in “multiple shots fired from a handgun and a shotgun,” the release said.
No one was injured, and a firearm was recovered at the scene, police said.
Dooley is being held without bail at the Sullivan County jail. His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday at Sullivan Superior Court in Newport.
