NEWPORT, NH — Patricia Ferguson Brady, 84, of Newport, New Hampshire died on March 10, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband John Brady. Pat was the daughter of the late William Oliver Ferguson and Agnes Whelan of New Haven, CT.
Pat was predeceased by a brother, William F. Ferguson of Orange, CT and is survived by a brother, Raymond F. Ferguson, of Branford, CT and a cherished nephew and niece, Niall M. Ferguson (Elizabeth Koshetz) also of Branford, CT. She is also survived by additional nieces and nephews in Connecticut.
Born on June 8, 1936, Pat was raised in New Haven. She graduated in 1954 from Hillhouse High School and received her BA from Ohio Dominican University. She taught grade school in a number of communities on Long Island, NY and retired to New Hampshire after her husband’s passing. Pat restarted her life in New Hampshire and made new and wonderful friends, who were very true and loyal to her. Her great hobby was golf and was very proud to have hit two “holes in one” in the same season on the John Cain Golf Course in Newport, NH.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home of Branford, CT. There will be no calling hours. A burial ceremony will be held on Saturday March 13 at 11:30 AM in the Ferguson Family plot at Branford Center Cemetery on Montowese Street in Branford.
