WINDSOR — Voters in Windsor and West Windsor approved a school budget and salaries for board members in Town Meeting Day ballot voting for the Mt. Ascutney School District.
The $11.74 million school district budget passed in a 524-168 vote. It’s a decrease of about 0.2% from the spending plan approved last year.
Additionally, voters elected Elizabeth Burrows, who ran unopposed for West Windsor representative on the School Board, and Rebecca Roisman, who ran unopposed for Windsor representative on the board.
Voters also passed an article establishing a $1,250 yearly salary for the School Board chair and $1,000 yearly salaries for the board members.
