ROYALTON — Voters approved the town’s general fund and highway budgets, and reelected two Selectboard members at the polls Tuesday.

The $1.35 million general fund budget is a roughly $12,500 decrease from last year’s spending plan, while highway operations increased spending by $5,900 to $1.04 million.

Overall, the amount to be raised by taxes on the two budgets is expected to decrease by a combined $4,800.

There were no contested races. Selectboard members Chris Noble and Tim Murphy both won reelection.
