TUSCALOOSA, AL — Katherine Mae Diller, age 74, passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2021 due to her battle with early-onset dementia. She was born on October 10th, 1946, in Newport, New Hampshire to Rocco and Loretta Cusanelli. She was the seventh of ten siblings and survived by her daughter, Charleen Boyle, and son, Christopher Boyle, grandchildren, Alexander, Caylee and Avery Boyle.
She spent much of her life traveling the United States with her husband, Kenneth E. Diller, working and volunteering at a multitude of state parks before settling in Arizona. Once settled, for many years she was the Administrator over Documentation at a flourishing hospital before finally retiring. Shortly after the passing of her husband in March of 2016, she relocated to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, living her final days at Regency Retirement Village.
