Tracey Dean got the idea for the underground house she and her husband, Paul, are building from an ad in an old Mother Earth News. After two years of work during visits from their Leesburg, Fla., home, the roof is sealed and the couple has arranged a temporary office space inside the structure. “The upside down swiming pool, that’s what we call it,” said Paul Dean. “Because if you flipped it over, that’s what it would be.” (Valley News - James M.
