ST. JOHNSBURY, VT — Kevin J. Parker, 63, passed away on Wednesday, September 30th after a long fought battle with diabetes. He is survived by his wife Lynne of St. Johnsbury, his daughters Sarah and her children Juniper and Hawthorne of Orwell, VT, Katherine and her fiancé Dylan of Cambridge, VT, his son Matthew and his wife Rena of Claremont, NH, his sister Gail, her husband Jim-bob of St. Albans, VT, his nephew James of Burlington, VT, his nieces Paige of Fairfax, VT, and Nicole of Homestead, FL.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph Earley (Skipper), and Mildred Earley, his father Albert A. Parker, and his mother Joanne (Earley) Parker.
He was born on January 19th 1957 on a military base in the Azore Islands. He grew up and raised his children in the Greater Burlington area until he moved to the Upper Valley in the early 2000s. He enjoyed fishing Lake Champlain, driving, spending time with his family, and making everyone laugh.
There will be a private mass held for his immediate family, but there will be a “Kevin Style” celebration held at the family’s discretion at a later date for everybody to pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that you make donations to the National Diabetes Association in Kevin’s name.
