GRANTHAM, NH — Joel D. Ash, 84, has passed away at home on September 10, 2020– his family by his side. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1956 and held a Masters of Science degree from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth. During his long business career, he travelled internationally as an executive with International Telephone and Telegraph and went on to run his own consulting firm for some years. He is the author of two published works of poetic limericks. He retired to Connecticut and then moved to Eastman in Grantham, New Hampshire in 2002. He enjoyed his membership in the Country Squires, and also enjoyed fishing, magic (a lifelong passion) and travel.

He is survived by his wife Marsha (m. 1958), two sons Kevin and wife Helen of Northwood, NH and Deron and wife Noelle of Gilbert Arizona, and grandchildren Aaron, Braelin, Ben, Andrew and Aiden. He is also survived by his brother Robert and his spouse Julia of Bogota, Colombia.

Funeral and interment will be private; a memorial is planned for an undetermined future date.
