NORWICH — King Arthur Flour has changed its name to King Arthur Baking Co. to emphasize the range of products it sells.

“Our pledge to offer high-quality flour has expanded to become a commitment to helping customers experience the joy of baking,” the Norwich-based company said on its website.

Founded in 1790, the company moved to Vermont in 1984 and built a “flagship campus” for bakers, it says on its website.

King Arthur also changed its logo, which had featured a knight on a horse. The new logo shows a wheat crown surrounded by the new company name with the year the business was established.
