Douglas Tengdin, a longtime financial and wealth management adviser in the Upper Valley, has formed his own firm, World Market Advisors, to offer financial planning and investment management to private clients, families and institutions.
Tengdin, a Dartmouth College alumnus and Hanover resident, is the former chief investment officer at Charter Trust Co.
Previously, Tengdin had been a senior investment officer at Banknorth Group in Burlington, where he was also the founding president of CFA Society Vermont.
Ledyard National Bank has promoted veteran commercial banker Bob Christensen to senior vice president and commercial banking officer.
Christensen had been vice president and commercial loan officer at Ledyard, which he joined in 2013 from Peopleโs United Bank, where he had worked in commercial lending. He previously was associate director of real estate at Dartmouth College.
A Thetford Center resident, Christensen graduated from Saint Michaelโs College and has an MBA from Penn State.
