HARTLAND — Interstate 91 will be closed overnight on Wednesday in Hartland to allow construction crews to finish dismantling a bridge as part of a replacement project.
Traffic between Exits 9 and 10 will be detoured onto Route 5 starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday, with plans to reopen the interstate no later than 5 a.m. Thursday.
The closure will allow construction crews to complete demolition operations on the Depot Street bridge, according to the Vermont Agency of Transportation.
The bridge, which dates to 1965, is being replaced as part of a $4.8 million project.
