HOLLIS, NH —With sadness we announce the passing of Rebekah Ruth (Wright) McCalmont, age 89, on May 27, 2020 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born November 30, 1930 and was the daughter of Reverend W. Clarence and Maude Wright. She grew up in Los Angeles and was a life-long member of the Presbyterian Church.

Rebekah married her college sweetheart Arnold McCalmont on December 27, 1952. The following year, they both graduated from Redlands University in Southern California. She enjoyed playing the stock market and was an adventurous world traveler, from the tulip gardens in the Netherlands to the chocolates of her favorite country, Switzerland, which she visited over twenty times. She was a past president of the Hollis Woman’s Club.
