ENFIELD, NH — Fred J. “Jimmy” Cantlin, 86, of Enfield died Monday, May 18, 2020. He was born in Lebanon, NH May 26, 1933 to Donald and Gladys (Duplessis) Cantlin.

He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Ellie, in January 2018; and brothers, Donald Cantlin, John Cantlin, and Roger Cantlin.

He is survived by a sister, Nancy Blair of Seward Alaska; daughter, Bonnie Doran, and her husband Joe; daughter, Patty Cantlin, and her partner, John Dziala; son, Tom Cantlin, and his wife, Deborah; daughter, Karen Cantlin Balch; grandchildren, Joshua and Missie Loupis, Jennifer and George Doran-Pena, Sarah Doran, Melissa and Ryan Bailey, Michelle and Tom Harkins, Bradley Cantlin, Jessica and Matt Belisle, Mason Balch and girlfriend Hailey Thornton; and 12 great grandchildren.

Jimmy was a Korean War Army veteran and belonged to the American Legion. His long career was spent as a cement truck driver for Miller Ready Mix and then Whitcomb.

He was a gentle and kind man who loved gatherings with family and friends, playing horse shoes and cribbage.

A burial service and celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date.
