PIERMONT — Residents are being asked to approve a $952,900 general fund budget.

Another article seeks $20,625 to replace the shingled roof at the fire station with a standing seam roof.

A petitioned article, supported by the Selectboard, seeks $7,990 for two portable radar-equipped signs to alert motorists if they are speeding.

Another petition article, which would take effect upon the retirement of the current police chief, would require the town’s police cruiser to be parked in the garage attached to the Town Office while not in use for official duty.

Australian ballot voting will be held on Tuesday, March 10, with the floor portion of Town Meeting on Saturday, March 14. The annual School District Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, at the Piermont Village School.
