THETFORD — Voters decided three contested Selectboard races and filled a fourth seat and approved an $8.9 million School District budget during Australian ballot voting on Tuesday.
Selectboard member Nick Clark garnered 801 votes to defeat challenger Bill Huff, who received 393 votes, for a two-year term.
Meanwhile, Steven Tofel received 585 votes to beat David Goodrich, 462 votes, for a three-year seat on the board.
Mary Bryant defeated John Bacon, 760-392, for a three-year seat, and Sharon Harkay, who was running unopposed, received 995 votes for a one-year term on the board.
Residents also voted, 902-341, to approve the School District’s $8.9 million budget for the 2020-21 school year.
