LEBANON, NH — Adrian Joseph Bellavance, 82, of Lebanon, NH passed away on November 8, 2019.
Born April 6, 1937, in Hardwick, VT, to the late Napoleon and Clarida (Leclerc) Bellavance, Adrian became a resident of Lebanon, NH in 1938. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Sandra (Stillman) Bellavance and leaves behind two daughters, Sherry Guyette and Terry Lopata (Joe), and three grandchildren, Victoria, Julian, and Andrew.
He also leaves behind one brother Raymond Bellavance (Mari), and four sisters, Cecile Carr (Gene), Margaret Bates (Wayne), Madeline Edwards (Dan), and Pauline Grant, and sisters-in-law Arlene, Leta, Joanne, and Barbara Bellavance. Adrian was predeceased by his brothers Agenor, Gerard, Julian, John, Fred, Robert, and Roland Bellavance.
Adrian was a devoted husband and father who worked hard for his family. He obtained an associate’s degree in accounting from Franklin Pierce College and entered the workforce with Twin State Fruit after graduation. Upon their closing, Adrian worked at CDF Building Products, and ended his professional career at Calley & Currier in Bristol, NH. Unwilling to settle for a quiet retired life, Adrian then went to work as a doorman at The Hanover Inn at Dartmouth College, where he made lifelong friends and enjoyed his time visiting with students, professors, and guests alike.
Anyone who knew Adrian will attest that he was full of life. He was passionate about maintaining his lawn, was a diehard Patriots fan, and loved a good practical joke. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could be found having a snowball fight in the street with his brothers, engaging in a water fight at The Hanover Inn, or hitting people with newspapers; Adrian was always having fun.
