LEBANON, NH — Harry E. Johnson III, 73, passed away Thursday October 17, 2019 following a period of failing health.

Born April 28, 1946 in Lebanon, NH he was the only child of the late Harry & Louise (Hutchins) Johnson Jr., Harry graduated from Lebanon High School, Class of 1964 and later from the University of NH. Harry married his high school sweetheart Sara “Sally” Couser on June 29, 1968. He started his longtime career in banking with Dartmouth National Bank, later working for Mascoma Savings Bank and Ledyard Bank. After retiring from the banking industry he worked part time at Shaker Valley Auto Center. Harry coached youth hockey and baseball for many years. He thoroughly enjoyed coaching and being an active member of The Greater Lebanon Youth Hockey Association and Lebanon Little League. Later in life, he loved attending and hearing about his grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. Harry was passionate about collecting and working on cars as well as attending car shows with his Father. He was a Mason at Franklin Lodge #6, an avid music lover and lifetime Cleveland Indians fan.

Harry was predeceased by his wife in 1990. He is survived by his three children Dr. Ryan Johnson and his wife Jennifer, Keena Corriveau and her husband Jeffrey, Heather Gold and her husband Brian, four grandchildren Matthew and Luke Corriveau and Emma and Tyler Johnson as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

At Harry’s request, there will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to his funeral service at the West Lebanon Congregational Church on Wednesday October 23, 2019 at 10 AM, Harry will be buried next to his wife in the West Lebanon Cemetery.
