Rivendell’s Cora Day took possession after the overtime kickoff and broke down the left side of the field. Day laid a pass into Mikayla Stever, who took off for the end line and then crossed a pass to Sienna Carter for the game-winner just 54 seconds into overtime.

Day played the first 60 minutes in goal for Rivendell before coming out to take the field, a move Goodwin has made several times when his team needs an offensive spark.

Cora made six saves and was relieved by Ryleigh Butler (one save). Rivendell (8-4-0) will visit Green Mountain on Wednesday.

Oxbow closes the season at Winooski on Wednesday and then home versus Richford on Friday.
