Ruediger Fach, president of the Frankfurter Feldbahn Museum, of Frankfurt, Germany, right, was on hand Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, to oversee the transport of a narrow-gauge locomotive from the former home of Edgar Mead in Etna, N.H., back to the museum where it will join 19 others in their possession and be restored over the next three years. Mead, who died in 2001, bought the 1930s era train engine in 1966 and built a track from the his original house in Etna, to a second house he had built on the hill above. Mary Mead, Edgar's daughter, said the locomotive last ran in 2002, and she sought a buyer to give it a new life. "A locomotive can't sit there unattended," she said. (Valley News - James M.
