CANAAN — A boil water order for users of the public water system in Canaan Village has been lifted.
Town officials on Thursday said laboratory results delivered at noon showed “water tests fine.”
The boil water order went into effect last Friday when Canaan officials said there was a major leak in the system, which serves about 400 residents, or 10% of the town.
The source of the leak, a separated elbow joint, was found late Monday.
