HANOVER — The Dartmouth College women’s soccer team has been predicted for a mid-table finish, according to the Ivy League’s preseason poll released on Wednesday.

The Big Green, who took third in the Ivy standings last autumn, landed fourth in the poll for the upcoming campaign. Two-time defending champ Princeton grabbed 10 votes and a chart-topping 120 points to hold down first place, with Penn (112) and Harvard (80) outpolling Dartmouth (76). Columbia (74), Brown (59), Yale (37) and Cornell (18) round out the list.

Dartmouth was picked seventh in last year’s poll. The Big Green opens its season with back-to-back home games — Pittsburgh on Aug. 30 and Syracuse on Sept. 1.
