LEBANON, NH — Morris Clayton Shattuck, 76, passed away from a long illness Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Genesis in Lebanon, NH. He was born May 27, 1943 to Morris Samuel Shattuck and Rita Gertrude (Emery) Shattuck where he grew up on Spring Street in Lebanon, NH. After graduating from Lebanon High School he pursued various store positions to Management which led to his partnership in business with Rex Bean being owners of The Enfield Meat Market in downtown Enfield, NH. For many years Morris resided in Canaan, NH as he finished his working career from Dartmouth College. Hobbies he focused around were Hunting, Fishing, to include much wildlife observing at which he loved Nature and also his interest in various cars.
He was married to Joyce (Thibodeau) at which they had three children, Morris Edward Shattuck, whom has passed away, Mary Jane Emery of Enfield, NH and Erik Lee Shattuck of Grafton, NH. His siblings being Roland Shattuck of Enfield, NH, Patricia Hooker, and Gladys Grendler both of Lebanon, NH.
Morris was known for his strong intellectual sense of humor at which he always had a quick answer to any situation with a grin.
There will be Calling Hours on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon, NH. After services will be transferred to the Lebanon Cemetery for Graveside Services.
