The Child Care Financial Assistance Program aims to assist parents with paying for child care. Nancy Bloomfield, executive director of The Family Place in Norwich, said that in Vermont especially the program is designed to help a large portion of families, not just those in the lowest income brackets. She urged all families to check their eligibility for subsidies.
“Things have changed to really benefit families in Vermont in the last legislative session,” she said. “It’s always good for parents to check in, even if they weren’t eligible before.”
