UNITY, NH — Elaine Joyce Brewer, 72 of Summerfield, FL went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday (July 30th) at her daughter’s home in Unity, NH. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born in Claremont, NH on August 16, 1946, the 2nd daughter of Basil and Katherine (Burbee) Neale. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from Steven’s High School in 1964. She married the love of her life, Jon Brewer, on November 6, 1964. She worked for the Eagle Times, Claremont, NH and Mettler’s on St. Armands Circle, Sarasota, FL. She is survived by her loving husband, Jon Brewer, 4 daughters: Laurie Cook of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Ann Dewey and her husband Michael of Unity, NH, Karen Bell and husband Lyman of Sarasota, FL and Katherine (Katie) Reveglia of Venice, FL, 2 grandchildren: Rachel and Jeremy Dewey of Unity, NH, 4 sisters: Joan Coolidge, Barbara Husack and her husband John of Claremont, NH, Mary Stephens and her husband Richard Rau of Bluffton, SC and Martha Maurer and her husband Robert of Lebanon, NH and several nieces, nephews and cousins in the US, London and Ireland. She is preceded by her parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, a nephew and great niece. A service will be held at Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan St. Claremont, NH on Saturday August 3rd at 11:00. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Roy Funeral Home on Friday, August 2nd 6:00-8:00 PM.
