Jewelry maker and Scavenger Gallery owner Stacy Hopkins has a busy weekend planned.

On Friday evening, she’s holding a closing reception for “Skywriting,” a show of recent work by Norwich artist Luciana Frigerio. The reception, part of the monthly First Friday in White River Junction, runs from 5:30 to 7:30 and features a tasting of wines from Artisanal Cellars.

The reception is also your last chance to visit the gallery this month, as Hopkins is closing up shop and taking her show on the road, then to her studio.

She’s planning to attend “South Woodstock Day,” from 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, a celebration of the small village on the banks of Kedron Brook.

And the next day, from 4 to 7:30 p.m., Hopkins plans to open her studio, which is across the road from Skunk Hollow Tavern in Hartland Four-Corners, to visitors.

Scavenger will be closed for August, but Hopkins plans to hold some special events, so stay tuned.

Also on First Friday, Two Rivers Printmaking Studio holds a reception for “Land on Paper,” a group show of landscape prints from 5 to 7 p.m. Through Aug. 31.
