LEBANON — A New York man accused of driving erratically for 30 miles on and around Interstate 89 in New Hampshire is facing numerous charges.

New Hampshire State Police say a concerned motorist called police Monday night from Warner around 9:35 p.m. and then followed the silver Nissan Armada onto the interstate, providing updates to dispatchers. State police intercepted the vehicle around Exit 11 northbound, but the driver refused to stop.

Police say the pursuit continued into Enfield with the SUV reaching speeds over 95 mph. Another trooper deployed “stop sticks” and the SUV continued speeding north on the interstate while losing tire debris before crashing into a ditch in Lebanon, according to a state police news release.

Kenneth Moulin, 53, of Williamsville, N.Y., was charged with aggravated driving under the influence, disobeying an officer, reckless driving and an open container violation.

The news release said he was released on personal recognizance but then later taken to the Merrimack County Jail in protective custody. He is scheduled to appear in 5th Circuit Newport District Court on August 13.
