HARTFORD — A crash on slushy roads involving a tractor-trailer unit closed both lanes of Interstate 91 southbound on Monday in Hartford.

The southbound lanes had been closed near mile marker 71.2 in Hartford early on Monday afternoon and police set up a detour by Exit 12 in Wilder.

Both lanes reopened around 3:20 p.m., Vermont State Police said.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said. The driver was taken away in an ambulance with unspecified injuries.
