RANDOLPH — Vermont State Police are investigating reports of an individual lurking around properties off East Bethel Road in Randolph.
Over the past three weeks, troopers have taken “several” reports for a suspect who has been loitering near homes and outbuildings, according to a State Police news release.
“Some complaints were regarding footprints around vehicles and up to entry ways of outbuildings and homes,” the release states.
Police are unsure if the suspect or suspects have broken in to any of the places, but “it is possible entry has been made,” Trooper Jeremy Lyon said on Thursday.
Police are asking people in the area to lock their homes, vehicles and outbuildings.
