Shisko and Chappell each had eight points in Sunapee’s 24-point opening salvo in the first quarter, good for an eight-point lead at the buzzer. The defense kicked in from there, limiting Nute to 10 middle-period points as the hosts pulled away.
Kevin Nolan and Sean Moynihan both had 10-point games for the Lakers (8-2, 9-3), who had dropped their last two after a three-game winning streak. Sunapee hosts Newport on Tuesday.

Louis Larosiliere had 20 points to pace Mount Royal, which led, 31-8, at halftime. Philip Dahlberg had 13 points and Matteo Hoffman added 11 points. Luke Bocko chipped in seven points.

Hanover’s Charlie Adams drained what appeared to be a game-tying 3-pointer with 15 seconds left to play only to have the bucket changed to a 2-point field goal during a stoppage in play with 4 seconds left. The Pride then added a pair of free throws for the final margin.
“It was an incredible shot by Charlie,” Hanover coach Tim Winslow said. “We gave up too many points (in the fourth quarter) and struggled to make stops. A couple costly turnovers hurt us.”
The Marauders led, 55-47, through three quarters. Adams finished with 20 points. Nolan Gantrish had 17. Liam Collins and Hank Pikus each added 10 points.
Hanover visits Kearsarge on Wednesday.
Lake Region 42, Hartford 26

Brothers Danny and Alex Bushway both had seven points to lead Hartford, which did close Lake Region’s lead to single digits by the start of the fourth quarter.
The Canes are off until Windsor visits next Friday night.

“We got down by six to eight points (in the fourth quarter) and turned our press up. We started taking chances on D, and they made us pay. It was close the whole way; we just couldn’t get over the hump,” Oxbow coach Steven Carson said.
Bryce Ilsley had 16 points for the O’s. Matt Emerson added 11 and Orin Mahikoa had nine points. Oxbow hosts Montpelier on Wednesday.

Josh Stithen canned three 3-pointers en route to a team-high 12 points for the Cardinals. Matt Jones added a season-high eight points.

Lebanon 74, Souhegan 18
Lebanon
Lebanon (11-0, 14-0) was never challenged after taking an 18-6 lead through one quarter. Thirteen different Raiders took the floor, with 11 scoring.
Sally Rainey finished with 11 points and freshman Emily Wright, who has split time with the varsity and jayvee this winter, netted a career-high six for Lebanon. The Raiders head to Pembroke on Tuesday.

“We’re starting to click on all cylinders. This team is very unselfish sharing the ball. On any given night, anyone can score in double digits,” Hanover coach Dan O’Rourke said.
Maddie McCorkle led the way with 11 points. Anna Kirkpatrick had 10 points. Lois Schwarz and Charlotte Johnson each had eight points. Bella Bardales added seven points. The Marauders built a 28-17 lead at halftime and closed out the win with a 17-6 run in the fourth quarter.
Hanover hosts Kearsarge on Wednesday.

MVCS went on a 10-2 run in the second quarter and the game was back-and-forth from then on. The Eagles trailed by just two points with two minutes left in regulation before a stretch of clutch free throw shooting by the Mounties widened the gap.
“We went to the basket great tonight, (but) just didn’t make our free throws. It would have been a different game if we made a couple buckets late,” Eagles coach Chris Goodwin said.
Hayley Goodwin had 18 points for MVCS. Kyla McCoy added nine points. The Eagles visit Black River on Thursday.
Blue Mountain 66, Sharon 9

“They’re 8-0, but they’re clearly the first team in Division IV,” Sharon coach Gregg Nalette said.
Freshman Tia Kendall paced the Phoenix with six points. Sharon hosts Twinfield on Thursday.
Coe-Brown 48, Stevens 45

Stevens had a 12-2 deficit after one quarter down to just four points (32-28) entering the fourth. The Bears hit four of six free-throw attempts in the final stanza, just enough to hold off the Cards.
Sydney Miller had 12 points, Zahna Rice added 10, and Jenna Pond and Ellie Grenier both offered nine for Stevens, which entertains Fall Mountain on Tuesday.
KUA 5, Tilton 3

KUA took a 3-2 lead into the first intermission on goals from Sullivan Mack, Drew Bennett and Paul Dore, who converted a stretch pass from Kohvakka. Dore and Mack added their second goals of the contest to extend the KUA advantage in the second period to 5-2, and Kohvakka did the rest.
Zach Whitehead, Tomas Mazura and Brian Carrabes finished with two assists each for Kimball Union, which also picked up helpers from Kyle Penney and Teddy Griffin. KUA visits Northfield Mount Hermon on Wednesday.

Defenseman Declan Daubney had a pair of power-play goals for Oyster River in its second period onslaught, with which the hosts built a 5-2 lead. Trey Chickering kicked off the Lebanon-Stevens-Mount Royal comeback just 54 seconds into the third period on a two-man power play, and Jack Sandmann cut the gap to agoal with 5:42 to play, but the Raiders couldn’t find the equalizer.
Chickering, Sandmann and Aidan Yates all had one-goal, two-assist game for Lebanon, which also picked up a goal from Andrew Duany. Hunter Robb finished with 25 saves for the Raiders, while Colin Clark made 16 stops for the Bobcats.
Lebanon heads to Berlin on Monday.
