David Dubey, left, and his sister Theresa Boaz, right, woke up early Tuesday morning, Nov. 27, 2018 to the noise of a freight train hitting a tree limb that had fallen under the weight of snow outside their Royalton, Vt., home. The limb was dragged within a few feet of their porch, but only caused damage to a wire fence between their yard and the tracks. (Valley News - James M. Patterson) Copyright Valley News.
