Richard Greenwald, the founder of Lebanon medical device maker Simbex, was presented with a 2018 Business Excellence Awards by New Hampshire Business Review in Manchester on Nov. 1.
Greenwald, one of 16 individuals in New Hampshire honored in the 2018 awards, was selected for developing impactful medical device and consumer health products and for fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. The award also commended Greenwald for embracing work-life balance in a New Hampshire company and for establishing a premier medical device commercialization center for rehabilitation and assistive technology, Simbex said in a news release.
Jake Mills has been named retail store manager for U.S. Cellular retail store located in the Walmart and Price Chopper shopping plaza in West Lebanon.
Mills joined U.S. Celluar in 2011 as a retail wireless consultant in the Westbrook, Maine, store and most recently was a sales manager at the companyโs store in Topsham, Maine. He lives in Grantham.
Joseph Mollica, former owner of the One Mile West restaurant in Sunapee and since 2011 chairman of the New Hampshire Liquor Commission, has been honored as a 2018 Market Watch Retail Leader by Market Watch magazine.
Mollica, who also owned the Ship to Shore restaurant in Newfields, N.H., was one of six alcohol beverage retail executives honored at a black-tie gala at the St. Regis for โvastly improving its selection and modernizingโ New Hampshire state-owned liquor retail outlets, the trade magazine said.
New Hampshire state liquor retail sales topped $684 million last year.
Stebbins Bradley managing partner Catherine Richmond, a specialist in estate planning with the Hanover firm, has been selected as a New England 2018 Super Lawyer for estate planning and probate by Super Lawyers, a peer-reviewed attorney ratings service and magazine published by Thomson Reuters.
Richmond, of Norwich, a Vermont Law School graduate who joined Stebbins Bradley in 2002, is licensed to practice in both New Hampshire and Vermont.
