Halloween is on the horizon, and in the Upper Valley celebrations aren’t contained to the 31st. There are events happening throughout the month.

Margo Burns, 10th-generation great-granddaughter of Rebecca Nurse, who was hanged as a witch in Salem, Mass., in 1692, explores an array of prosecutions in 17th-century New England, using facsimiles of primary source manuscripts to demonstrate how methodically and logically the Salem Court worked.
