Walpole, N.H. — Alan Douglas Parker, 60, born in Lebanon, N.H, April 26 1958, died peacefully in his home in Walpole, Friday, Sept. 28, 2018. He is the son of Herbert and Barbara Garey of Ascutney, Vt.

Alan owned and operated his own historical preservation business and worked for many years as a carpenter.

His passion and love was for fine cars. He was always happy spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Alan is survived by his sisters, Deborah Pelton Jacobs of Charlestown, N.H. and Cynthia Parker of Lebanon. He has four children, Corey Paige Parker, Erica Parker, Lucas Rapp and Sasha Alek Parker. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Roewen, Levi and Jaxson. Alan had several aunts uncles and cousins.

There will be a celebration of Alan’s life to be held on Oct. 8, 2018, at the Hartness House Inn Springfield, Vt from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. All family and friends are welcome.
