Ellen S. Woodward

Lebanon, N.H. — Ellen S. Woodward, 70, a lifelong area resident passed away at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, with her loving husband by her side. She was born to the late Leigh & Helen (Preston) Smith. Ellen graduated from Lebanon High School, class of 1966 and later attended Hesser College. She married Earle Woodward on June 22, 1968. Ellen and Earle just recently renewed their vows and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Ellen had worked as a bookkeeper and accountant for the VNA VT & NH for thirty plus years. She was a member of the West Lebanon Congregational Church, enjoyed trips to York, Maine with her family and rides in her convertible.

She is survived by her husband Earle Woodward of Lebanon; their daughter Lori Doyle (Joseph) of Milwaukee, Wis.; two granddaughters Rossi Doyle and Riese Doyle both of Milwaukee; a brother Stanley Smith (Kathy) of Mont Vernon, N.H.; a sister Pamela Bonalumi of Las Cruces, New Mexico; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to Ellen’s memorial calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home & Crematory of Lebanon on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Ellen’s memorial service will be held at the West Lebanon Congregational Church on Friday, Oct. 26 at 10 a.m.
