Lebanon, N.H. — Joyce Lois Patterson Bagley, 92, a lifelong area resident passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at Lebanon Center-Genesis. She was born to the late William & Irene Patterson (Brown). She graduated from Lebanon High School, Class of 1943. Joyce had worked as a secretary at the Lebanon Woolen Mill, School Street School and Lebanon High School. Joyce was married to Malcolm “Mickey” Bagley on Oct. 6, 1940. She was an avid reader, knitter, enjoyed cooking and feeding family and friends. Any visitor was offered food and friendship. In her years at Genesis, you could often see her walking the halls with her basket of yarn, crochet hooks and knitting needles.

She is survived by her five children and their spouses, David & Linda Bagley of Lebanon, Judy & John Follensbee of Lebanon, James & Kathy Bagley of Grantham, Daniel & Karen Bagley of Vergennes, Vt., and Marilou & Chris Childs of Lebanon; one sister, Jean Ducharme of Rochester, N.H.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to Joyce’s calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Joyce’s family thanks both Lebanon Center-Genesis and Bayada Hospice for all their loving care. Memorial donations can be made to Bayada Hospice or The Alzheimer’s Association.
