North Haverhill — A 36-year-old man who was charged with stealing a Jeep from Miller Auto Group off Heater Road in June has pleaded guilty.

Peter P. Dotzel entered his plea to a count of theft by deception earlier this week.

He was sentenced to one to three years in prison.

Dotzel, a fugitive from justice in Pennsylvania, drove a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon off the lot in June with the understanding that he would return to finalize the sale. He never returned though and used fraudulent information to make the purchase, Lebanon police said at the time.

The Jeep was later found in Fairlee.
