Lebanon — Getting a rare turn behind the plate, Lebanon Post 22 catcher Andrew Hadlock delivered in a big way on Sunday.

Hadlock went 3-for-3, drove in five runs and delivered a game-ending two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning as Lebanon’s American Legion seniors routed Weare Post 65 at Lebanon High School. Hadlock’s effort highlighted a big day for Post 22 (6-5 league, 9-7 overall), which rattled 14 hits and received at least one run from everyone who played.

Kegan Silovich had three hits in four trips, Nate Perkins went 2-for-4 and Derek Griffin was 2-for-3 for Post 22. Pitcher Trey Parker made the most of the support, fanning 11 against one walk and seven hits on the mound. Four of the visitors’ six runs were earned.

The win pushed Post 22 a game and a half ahead of Weare (4-6) for the second New Hampshire District A state tournament seed with one week left in the season. Lebanon hosts Manchester’s Sweeney Post on Tuesday night.
